Question Electronic Clicker, Clicker+

Hi there,

Wondering if there is anyone out there using the electronic clicker, Clicker+, and what you think of it.

How long it lasts, how it compares to a real clicker, etc. .

Sorry no I haven't, only used some fairly standard clickers. Is there a particular reason why you are keen on the electronic version?

I haven't used it either or seen it used. Not sure of the advantages. I don't usually use a clicker but rather a voice "click"...ie a "yesssss."

Never even heard of one, but then i do not use clickers, I am in agreement with Kaos that a treat and teach by voice is the best way to work with dogs. At least mine have been so easy to train with pet and praise and kindness.

I haven't seen or heard one either. Plain ole standard clicker is what i've always used.

Thanks for the comments guys, if I get one I'll let you know what I think. I tried a pen click to no avail as well. Maybe my dog just doesn't want to be 'clicker trained'?? hehe

How are you clicker training? I find many people do it wrong.

Yes, I too was wondering why the pen click didn't work for you?

I can't get past the 'charging' part. I can click the pen all I want, the dog doesn't care. But the moment I call her name over, click the pen and offer a treat, she high tails it out of the room.
