Default 10 Most commonly swallowed items requiring surgical removal

The worst thing my dog has ever swallowed was a winning lotto ticket and my nephew's lab managed to eat most of his wife's wallet; thankfully neither required any surgical intervention. According to information gathered by a pet health insurance company, the ten most common household items swallowed by dogs that required surgical removal are:

1. Socks

2. Underwear

3. Panty hose

4. Rocks

5. Balls

6. Chew toys

7. Corn cobs

8. Bones

9. Hair ties and ribbons

10. Sticks
