Until they put in the dog park we use, I considered myself very fortunate to have found several trails like that, katydid.
I have two within a half mile, and two others within 5 miles. The two close ones are about a mile long and the two further are 2 to 5 miles. The two further ones both have streams as dose one of the close ones.
I'm also not averse to letting Sadie off leash on a couple of trails that are seldom used by anyone else after scopoing them out or just letting her off for a short time.
I'd point them out to you but it would be a long drive.

If anyone else is here from Pierce county, wa or S.King county, pm me and I'll let you know the ones I use or if you know of some, let me know.

Of course the most wonderful thing in the world in her opinion is if we take a day or two and head to the ocean beaches where she can chase seagulls and run for miles and miles all she wants.
Some unfortunate people don't have a dog to talk to.

If I had my way we would live more out in the country on a small farm where Mugsy could romp and sniff all he wants.

Having said that we are lucky. Louisville has a great park system and there is a dog run association with about 5 or 6 dog runs at some of the different parks. It cost about 30 bucks a year for a key fob but it is worth it to be able to have somewhere to let Mugsy off the leash.

When we went to Myrtle Beach a couple of years ago they had some nice little dog parks that were free to get into.

Mugsy on the Beach.
