Default Our new puppy and trying to determine breed

We rescued one of these adorable puppies from the shelter yesterday. We are in love! They told us they were jack russel terrier pups but the chcolate and green eyes is throwing me off. What do you guys think?

Hi Thecolorfulmom and welcome to Df it's always difficult at that age to determine the breed but the middle one does slightly resemble a JRT Which one have you choosen?

We got the one on the right! He is super cute and full of energy but I am not convinced they are Jack Russels. They look like Mini chocolate rottweilers

Welcome Colorfulmom, great to have you join us! First of all, thank you for rescuing and I think..... you have one heck of an adorable puppy who has stunning littermates :-) The only dog breed with green eyes is, I believe, is the APT but mixes can have green eyes and puppies eye color can change when they are about 3 months old. These pups are just too cute for words and I love their ears and their expressive faces... what have you named your little guy?

Welcome to the forum. Dodger is absolutely adorable. Looking forward to more photos and posts from you and Dodger. So glad you adopted him. I'm a true believer in adopting shelter pups!

From the coloring they could have some Miniature Pinscher in them. Did they see either of the parents at the shelter? Cute puppy though but always interesting to try and guess what breeds they have in them. You will be able to tell a lot more as the puppy gets older. How old is he and what does he weigh?

Thank you everyone! This is the pic of them with the mother. He is 2 months old and soooo small. I tried to weigh him with our scale but he's too small it won't recognize it. LOL
