Hi toole13! And good to see you have joined us on Df Now the breed I have zoomed right in on face then zoomed out a bit. I would say JRT (Jack Russle Terrier) I have looked again and it still looks like it to me! Anyway is this your dog? cute looking too! What's he/she's name? Enjoy the forum

Default Thanks for the welcome Bigboy

I too was treading through terriers trying to match ears, eyes, etc. I think you might be on the right track. The picture is Sophia, a dog we just rescued. We are trying to figure out what might be in her so we know a little more about how to go about her training. Thanks for the input!

Thanks for the input Louuie. I can definitely see some Pit in the shape of her head. She is 8 months and around 27 pounds. About the size of a Jack Russel, but thick body.

Most JRTs I know are under 20lbs and I usually don't see them too tall, like.. 15, 16" or so. Do you have a side shot? Is she square? more rectangular?

Those are the only 2 pics I have right now. She's more rectangular. about 19" tall. Can't see much muscle definition. I believe she's just a bit overweight too. I keep looking at pictures of various dogs and have found Blue Heeler color + brindle, Pit or Staffordshire head, boxer eyes...

I see english staff on the round head.. its very round (moonshape)

but she's young and it might be a little of this and that.. She's pretty though
