Cheese is ok for dogs but not sure if ALL cheeses are. When Sadie needs a med, I put it in peanut butter.

In moderation but it's a treat not a daily food some dogs can't tolerate dairy products I will give Nipper as a treat some times a little milk to drink, but it's not daily either

Cheynie, and Chessie before her has cheese daily and both are/were fine with it. "Some" dogs have difficulty with dairy products and others don't. Chessie had no issues whatsoever with any dairy product in any amount.

Yes, I should have said as a treat or way to get pills down, not as a diet supplement.

Janiee, my Chi had food issues when I got him. He's 9 now, and he will eat anything. When I got Scooter, he was depressed, and was just giving up. He had stopped eating all together. He was an owner/surrender. I got him to start eating, by feeding him boiled chicken liver. From there, I started adding moistened kibble, and giving him less and less of the liver. He transitioned fine. Sometimes you just need to give a pup some time to transition to his new family and surroundings. By the way, you pup is sooooo cute!
