Default Login Twice??

When visiting the home page of Dogforum.net why does it not show that you are logged in? (even though you are) And yet when selecting other pages on the forum you are actually logged in? if you are already logged in using the remember me tick box you should be logged in on the main home page? Any one else notice this? TIA

Other than losing my internet connection repeatedly lately I have not had any problems. Maybe Chip will drop by and answer.

Thanks techie I am a member of another forum and as soon as you go to the home page it knows if you are logged in and will show that you are logged in. How ever on dog forum when you find another page that shows you are logged in and you click home then it says welcome then your username but you try and type in dogforum.net and then when the first page shows you aren't aknowledged as being logged in.

If you have ticked the box in the upper right hand corner when you sign it, it will remember you and not require another log in as well as show that you are logged in. There have been no reports of any issue as you describe and I have not had any problem either.

That's the point Janice the box is ticked and it does remember me but not on the home page when i go via www. would I need to login via the home page so when I visit the home page again it does remember me? All other pages do show that I am logged in. My browser does use cookies and stores cookies in the cookie cache which is only cleared (automaticaly) when the cookie cache reaches 128! Or if I clear it manually which I dont usually do,
