Default Pictures . . . again :(

I added some pics to the gallery yesterday, now when I added them from my ipad they looked like they came out ok.

I've just viewed them in the gallery from my work pc and whilst the thumbnail looked fine, when I clicked on the photos one was upside down and the others on their sides.

I just went into edit pic on each one and changed it but now they look odd in the thumbnail and still not right when you click on the pic?

What did I do wrong, and how do I put it right? Or can someone else straighten them up for me?

Hi Trish I am surprised no one has got bak to you on this! I would suggest that you have a look at your settings on your I-Pad. May be you had Auto rotation on switch this off it may help

I think they sorted them selves out Dave, or someone one did it for me, as when I looked at them again they were ok

I know you are still having problems with uploading to a thread. I really do suggest that you simply put the pics in the gallery and then post them to a thread from there. I'm not sure what your issue is with doing it that way. It would save you all headaches of contacting different people and having them test thing out for you.

That's good that they have come out ok Even taking pics from the gallery and uploading them to a post/reply should be automatic not having to type in the full URL and putting the IMG tags on at each end I mean it 's ok for the odd pic now and then. Maybe a auto transfere from the gallery to a post could be set up (if it isn't all ready) but it is time consuming to type in long URL's each and every time you want to post a pic. The Manage Attachments link while it takes you to the page to upload a pic from a device the link appears to take you no where and you still remain on the upload page

What needs to happen is for mobile phones/tablet users who are missing out on the auto upload to a post either from The Manage Attachments/Paper Clip Icon as neither of these seem to work as I have also tried a mobile phone and that shows the same problem as does my other device it just needs to have some code changes on the upload page for these devices to work
