Dave, the spellchecker button appears to be invoking the freeware ieSpell spellchecker, at least for MSIE-based browsers. The first time I invoked the spell checker button, it wanted me to download the ieSpell application, which installs as an add-on to Internet Explorer. After installation, the spellcheck button attempts to invoke the ieSpell Core Module. You can find out more about ieSpell and download the software, if appropriate, at http://www.iespell.com. It does have minimum requirements for a Windows-based operating system (Win98 to XP, min.) and an IE-based browser.

It may not work for TV-set-box internet access.

vagreys Am I right in saying after clicking the icon that takes you to iespellchecker web site. So that becomes the URL It appears that it won't work with my STB as there's no provison for downloading any software for STB's. Thanks for your reply vagreys.

Not exactly. It doesn't take you to a website. If it does not detect ieSpell resident on the local machine, a dialogue box pops up, notifying the user that it needs ieSpell in order to perform the spellcheck. It doesn't take the user to a site, automatically, but gives the user the option to do so. If the add-on is present, then it runs from the local machine.
