Default Site Security!

I have a question. Is this site secure as in email wise? As today I have recieved 2 emails from dog forum queries I have never seen these before but apparently they have been sent from me which I know they haven't! So who sent them and is there such a thing as Forum queries is this new? I fear some one is phishing and getting members details which is unauthorised. Is any one else receiving these? Thank you

Jean I would but if i open ( I suspect they are spam) them the person (sender) will know my email address is active! That's what I have always known as soon a email is opened the sender does know that it's been opened.
Unless there's a way of viewing the 2 emails off line is this possible?
I could get my email provider to prehaps do this for me?

Actually there might be.

If you have an email account on yahoo, there is an option to view messages that are sent to other email addresses. I use yahoo email accounts for anything and everything that is not work related.

If you've downloaded the email from the server to your computer than I'm not sure I understand how the sender would know that, then again there are a lot of things about the internet I don't understand.

At any rate, without the message, sender info, headers, etc we aren't going to be able to do much of anything or even offer an opinion.

Jean I will ask the guys on the radioandtelly forum
for advice on this and get back to you I have posted on the radioandtelly forum about this and await their reply. Update: I had a Pm sent me in the radioandtelly forum from the sender( who I know well) and they had for a test sent it via my mail2web mail account then forwarded it to my bush email account. They have apologised for any confusion as it was only a test to see if it worked by forwarding etc. So panic over. Thanks for you replies though
