Default Your Notifications?

Just re visited the forum and underneath Your username etc it say's Your Notifications 1 I clicked on it and it took me to the main page
after clicking on CP First as though I had just clicked CP If that makes sense It didn't take me to Your Notifcations either. What are Your Notifications ? They aren't New Pm's as I have no unread Pm's.
Can some one help Please? I thought I was going have to apologise as I then thought have Dg implenmented my suggesion about Social Group Notifications If it has, I can't get in to it what ever it is.

When I click on Your Notifications No menu appears. Iam wondering if a tag could be put on Your Notifications so when you hover on it tells you what's new? Or a drop down menu appears when you click on Your Notification on the next page and by selecting the drop down menu It could say Private message (1) or Social group new post (1) etc if there is no new stuff then in the drop down menu it would say Private message (0) etc or simply on the CP page on the left it could list in brackets ( ) what is new So any tweaks would be helpful! Thanks

Bigboy I have the same problem on one of my PCs at work. This is on one that has Windows 2000 Pro and MSIE 6. Instead of getting a dropdown, I get a separate box.
However for some strange reason, a PC at home that also has Windows 2000 Pro and IE 6 gives me the dropdown.

Can you provide details of your operating system and browser type so we can try to fix this?

Yes of course I can Jean OS is Linux. Browser is Mozila 4 ( compatible with IE 5.01) If you need the user agent I can get this too ? for this to work the code doesn't need fancy scripts/code. Thanks again

Hi Bigboy, thanks for your patience and sorry about the delay. I haven't seen bfrd lately so I'll see if I can flag him down and see what he says.

Do you have a drop down menu for "Quick Links"? I have tried with an older version of Firefox (but Moz 5) as well as Konquerer, both worked just fine. I am wondering if you are in an odd place where your browser doesn't support the menu but passes the popup test.

Hi No I don't and when I click on 'Quick Links' It's as though I have just refrershed the web page and end up on this same thread/page. Not sure what you mean by the pop up test ? Thanks
