Hope your using Firefox to access the site
Might help to delete any cookies

To do that click on tools, then click on clear private data, then click on cookies, cache , offline web data and authenticated sessions. Then click on clear private data now

Try to log back in and that should clear of any issues with you being logged out randomly
Let me know it that works

Hi Janie
the most common reason that members report logout / timeout problems is that they are not checking the "remember me" box when they log in. If you do not check this box, you will get logged out or timed out after something like 15-20 minutes. So if you are sitting there typing a post and do not hit "preview" or "submit" in that time, the server sees you as inactive and logs you out because the time for the login has been exceeded.
If you are using a shared computer say at a library this is a ncie security feature, but if youa re the only one using your computer, you might want to check the "remember me" box to help avoid that issue.

Glad it worked! Maybe we should put this in a Newbie Guide Pt 2!
