Question Gender Icons

Hi All Just a suggetion ( if not already implemented)
I have noticed there's no gender icons or text Eg M= Male, F=Female
is there a reason why many (and I haven't seen any icons etc) don't post their Gender status on the forum? Cheers

i dont really think its an important factor on this type of forum...when we all get to know each other we know what we are from the things said...though i must admit i have had a few suprises! i think its nice to just be the name we hae given ourselves, not a sex or age...and get on with the important stuff, which is talking about our dogs and other stuff!!! if anyone does think it is a relevant thing to state when introducing themselves then i dont suppose there is anything stopping people from putting it in their sig or avatar??? Thanks for your replys! A lot of forums in the Uk do have some sort of 'icon' next to the username. Important well that's for each one to decide In another forum I regulary visit you can select in the user CP to either have this on or off. I just feel out numbered in a nice sort of way, and Iam sure there are many male members on here as well as me, seeing that's this forum has many members from different countries

Well I still ask for this to be implemented! Cause sometimes a username doesn't tell you much, but in say for Eg: In Applesmom's case you know it's a female It would just be a nice finishing touch. And out of interest what is the ratio of males to females active regular posters to this forum.

Might consider it. I don't feel comfortable PMing a male. Guess I've been married too long!

Some people are not comfortable including pics of themselves. Where as a lot are comfortable including their name and or gender.
