Default A thread on Doggy First Aid?

Is it possible to have a thread on Canine First Aid - I'm thinking that we've posted a number of posts re. snake bites; CPR; Epilepsy etc. and it would save trolling through healthcare.

Just a thought

I carry one in the van that contains everything but the kitchen sink, ha ha. I add to it when I think of something, thank GOD I have never had to use only a bandaid for a human from it. I have a few first aid kits under the seats just in case with tons of stuff in them and a bottle of fresh water and collapseable bowels of like canvass material, very handy.

I can help make one or add to your Carol.

I just put together a first aid kit for both us humans and a separate one for the dogs...going to print out some how-to's on things that I don't know or might forget in an emergency to put in it aswell.

I can offer one suggestion. Carry a roll of Vet Wrap, rather than Tensor bandages for emergencies with animals. Vet Wrap has less stretch and recoil, and is therefor safer.

Yes, have vet wrap left over from having horses some 35 yrs plus. It is great to wrap over roll of cotton on strained or broken bone in a leg. Have done that also.

I love my portable drinking and eating containers I got some place few years ago, the have like a folding mouth on them that shuts like a purse, open and pour water in and they sit into door pockets nicely as they are very slim folded up.

Hey the suggestions are all great, but they would be much easier to find if they were in the Healthcare section.
