Default I think that

It would be nice to have part of the board were people can post dogs that need rescued in their area?.. I think it would be agreat help seeing as some ppl are talking about gonig out and buying a dog from a breeder when they could get a dog that is in need of a loving home.

I think that's a good idea as well. It'll help spread the word about dogs who need rescuing. And anyone who comes on here looking for a dog, can see if there are any in their area. The Canadian dog forum I'm on has that. It's great I found a bunch of dogs I'm interested in that way!

A lot of people are willing to do transports as well to get the dog where it needs to go.

I do think, though, if we had this section that dogs for sale shouldn't be allowed... I know on another forum where it is not permited, people still do it anyway...

Yes its a good idea but I think you would have to stipulate which country the dog is from as I think each Country has enough of their own rescue dogs without getting one from the other side of the world, apart from anything else the expense to import would be extortionate, not trying to put a damper on the idea, but just pointing this out. Perhaps is admin agree to this then they could have some way of splitting it into countries, and countries into areas as some countries are very large and vast... don't know
how or if this would work but it is just a thought.

Well this is a national forum so there would have to be different sections, I agree. On my Canadian forum, they state which province the dog is from and there is a link to the site, which says what city you can find them in. And then that in turn leads you to the rest of the dogs from that shelter.

The Pet Valus near my house does that. It's great.
