Default Signatures!

I'd like to get a bigger signature. I mean the size itself is okay...but i have to export it to make it's file size smaller, so it makes the colors all funky and i can never see the faces of my pups.
I dont know why but i've only noticed this with mine, the fuzziness but i dont like it.

Good luck-you've got a lot of detail there so I don't see how you can make the file size smaller and keep the detail. At least my skills are not good enough!

Coco, try exporting your sigs as .jpg files instead of .gif files.

.jpgs can be 16 million colors
.gifs can only be 256 colors & lots of quality gets lost in the export

jpg has never changed the grain/pixelation to a noticable difference with my pictures either. What program do you use to resize/save with?

The fact is that a .jpg is 16 million colors max ... and .gif is 256 max colors. Photographs should be exported as .bmp or .jpg for quality.

Here are 2 attachments ... SAME PIC ... one exported as .jpg & one exported as .gif — compare for yourself. (click on them to enlarge & see the difference)

Np, just wondering what proggy coco uses to resize. I used everything under the sun to edit and create images when I was taking graphic design and professional print courses but I have found that for resizing the finished product, I'll never stop using mspaint

I use Paintshop Pro but the export settings do make a difference. Yup, could be the program & could be the settings.
