Default CosCo Hip & Joint plus

Lucy is refusing to eat th Best Pet Glucosamine Chondrotine MSN. We finished a prior container and she liked it just fine.
Anybody had trouble with this. We have most of the container left and can't figure out why she doesn't like this one.

She will eat if I hand feed her and will lick up the pieces. She eats the plain kibble with no prompting.

Boy, has MacKenzie got me trained....

I've never even tried to give him his Glocosamine pills without putting some peanut butter on it!!

I'm gonna go tell him that the rest of the dogs of the world just take their pills without it being a treat! Do y'all think he'll listen to me....

We have some cream cheese too! I am glad to hear Lucy isn't the only one that doesn't like them! I guess she's just not an early morning breakfast eater. I had it out for an hour before hubby took her for her first walk and she didn't eat it then either.

I think she is holding out for turkey! Hubby finally found one on sale and cooked it yesterday. She wasn't eating when we came back from our long walk either.( I honestly didn't think she would make it that far! )
So being a softy I hand fed her until she got interested and ate it all.
She won't get turkey until she eats her kibble.

What is strange about Chessie (well, among other things!) is that she will take her supplements in the evening with no problem as if they were treats, but in the morning I get an argument!

My boy is so crazy about his food he wouldn't even notice if there was a rock in there instead of his pills. He eats his glucosamine and fish oil pills happily but I have to either dip his Tramadol in peanut butter or just pill him.
