Default Do stuffed toys with teethers work?

I bought two stuffed animal squeeky toys with teethers on the feet. I didn't know it at the time though I just thought my rat terrier would love them. Now that I have a puppy I was wondering if the teethers actually help the puppy in anyway. Has anyone tried teethers with their puppy?

I am not sure what you mean by teethers.

What I mean is you know baby teething rattles have that textured soft plastic surface...well the feet of the dog toy is exactly like that.

Yes, I do believe they help with a teething dog. Ozzy is no longer teething but he still loves to chew on those types of toys with lumps & bumps which undoubtedly also strenthen the jaw & do some teeth cleaning in the process.

I gave it to him about a half hour ago and he still hasn't lost interest in it, I am thinking about getting more for him because its keeping his attention pretty good and its hard to keep his attention for very long.

I think they help, but as they grow older, never leave them alone with toys that can break apart. The best thing however, is raw bones - they absolutely love them.

Well I wont have a problem with leaving them alone with them because they don't know how to share too well. They always want what the other has even if its the same thing so they get it for about an hour then we have to remove the toys off the floor.
