Default Solid foods

around what age is the best to start supplementing w/ the food mash? And just what should I be putting in the mash along w/ the hard puppy food and watering it down?

(btw..they're trying to open their eyes today!! yay...soon enough!)

they're 11 days old today! well, I guess technically 12 since they were born Monday late night between 9:30pm-1am(tues morning) Can't wait for their eyes to open. We're getting a sort of "play pen" for dogs and putting it in the living room (moving the coffee table for a while), putting down carpet scraps, a bed on one end, news papers covering the rest of the floor (in hopes that they'll get used to going on the newspaper at first, rather than where they sleep) and keeping a small water dish and food dish in w/ them.

what to do you move to from the scrambled egg? anything in particular? or just the dogfood mash?

Also, side thought...i was reading last night to give the bitch chicken broth to help w/ her milk production? Is it too late to even bother starting that?

i always start them on scrambled egg as its easily digestible for them. Then i feed them a light cereal and milk .
