I sure hope you're able to train that puppy and also work the the problems you're already having with your current dog. I wish you luck, and I certainly hope you haven't bitten off more than you can chew lol... Puppies are quick to pick up the bad habits of other dogs. >u.u<

Well good luck. And Cheetah is right, it is really important to train early on. Pitties are usually nice dogs, but they are a handful.

^ The above is not what I meant. I don't see pitbulls as "weird" or different from other breeds, other than maybe needing a bit more socialization (something it won't get in a kennel in the yard). But she is having problems with the dog she already had, and this is just going to multiply that X2 because now she's got 2 dogs to train. I hope to god this puppy goes to puppy classes. >@[email protected]<

Believe me, I am the last person to say anything bad about a pit bull. You just have to watch it with males when they get to be about 2 yrs old. The cute friendly puppy realizes that he was bred to fight other males and this sometimes causes problems.

I also had a tenant who had one. Lovely, friendly dog who had never been taught how to play with humans. Idiot me was roughhousing with him the way I would roughhouse with Zircon, and he playfully broke the skin of my arm through a heavy winter jacket and swaeter. Not the dog's fault, it was mine, since I did not realize that no one had taken the time to teach the dog where the limits were.

I have to agree with everyone else here Kels, Im sorry. I sure hope that your parents are going to help pay for this one, and Lady needs to be spayed ASAP. And the pup needs to be nuetered too. I hope you realize how much it is going to cost. And it is very important for him to be trained well and now. I think he should be taken to puppy school, after he gets all his shots and stuff. But the training needs to start ASAP, and he needs to be socialized very well. The puppy school will help with that also, and it will help with teaching you how to train your pup.

So that means you have to work training the pup everyday, and you can't forget Lady now that you have a new pup. She obviously still needs a lot of training too, and you need to work with her everyday. Having 2 dogs to train you are going to have a busy summer ahead of you.

what i meant was was they do need to be socialized more and you do need to be more consistent with your training or there could be trouble that being said i would still love to see a pic
