Default Teething toys

can anyone recommend some good toys for heavy teething? Buddy is around 6 mo (50 lb lab) and he destroys toys faster than we can buy them.
thanks

Hi Amigo i certainly can! it's called a boomerball see Zoo Balls, Zoo Toys, Balls For Dogs, Herding Balls, Animal Enrichment, Indestructible Plastic Ball - Boomer Ball - Boomer Ball they come in various sizes and are meant for the macho breeds like the staffy bull terrier and are indestructable too!! I have had one for over 2 years and it's still intact

The boomer balls are good for play but not for chewing as they are a hard plastic.
Have you tried any of the Kong toys?

I like the Kong toys as well, they really do take a beating. Timi is @17 weeks and chewing up a storm and the Kongs, Nylabones, and string ropes are holding up well.

Annie is my heavy chewer. Kongs and Nylabones are the only ones that last.

I did suggest getting one that is bigger than the dog's open mouth so they cant get their mouth round it chew. I think the OP is worried about the rate of toys her dog is destroying. I wouldn't give one to a 8 week old puppy either, but 6 months old it will help strengthen muscles round the dogs mouth.

Kongs and some of the Kong toys seem to be the only things that last with my Doberman when she was in the chewing stage and the same with Bonnie.
