Unhappy Excitement Urination?

I have a ? about excitement urinating. How old should a puppy be when this stops? Lady is about 10 months old and somtimes when we play and she gets all excited she urinates. I don't think she even knows that she did it. She is housetrained and we never punish her when she does it. Any ideas? Thanks

You mean just a little dribble, right? Not a big whizz?
I don't have personal experience with it (I do with submissive urination) but it sounds like you have a problem that needs to be addressed and will not go away on its own.

Maybe this will help?

Unhappy

No, its usually more than a dribble, I was wondering if maybe it was subbmissive. She came from the HS as a stray, maybe she was not treated very well before. I am going try to not get her so excited, she does it when we play the chasing game. IE She chases me I chase her, she seems to love this game but maybe she is getting scared that we may hurt her from her previous owner? If she was mistreated, poor girl, but maybe that explains some other things about her. Thanks

No submissive is when the dog is scared. I had to get it through my head not to yell at Sophia because one slightly harsh word and she would pee (dribble). But also when I would come home, she would give me a welcome like I was a celebrity and ALWAYS pee on the rug. She was delighted to see me, so hmmm, this WAS excitement urination. Sophia had come out of a situation where she was not treated well. Time cured our problem.
