Question Different paws?

Hi everyone! I'm new here to the boards and have a question.

O.k. here goes... So we bred our Shi tzu/Terrier mix with a Pomeranian. Now before I get bashed like I've seen done to others on forums out there. Let me just say that I was misled into thinking that it was beneficial for our bitches health if we bred her at least once before operating her. We had a dog die once from uterine problems and the vet said that it was probably due to her not using her reproductive system. We were blessed with only three pups thankfully for us and the mommy. I assisted in the birth and it was a wonderful experience but never again. I've seen so many videos online lately on what happens in shelters that I will never do this again. Well here's my question.

Our (bitch)female mix of Shi tzu/Terrier is cream/white with both curly and wirey coat. She has black paws.

The male is a Pomeranian, black/brown with the usual soft fluffy Pomeranian coat.

My concern is that one of the puppies has 5 toes in each foot in the back instead of 4. The mommy has 4 in the back feet as well as the other puppies.
Also some of their paws are pink and black combined. Weird! Is this just temporary? Will the pigment come in later or does the pink mean something?
I never checked the daddy's feet.

Thanks guys!

Note: We save our female from the streets about 2 1/2 yrs ago. She was traumatized due to being abused. When we took her to the vet she had a bloody red eye and was very timid. She was approx. 6 months from the vets perspective by observation of the baby teeth. He was the one who labeled her shi tzu/terrier mix. I wish I knew her history and who her really parents were but what can we do but give her all the love in the world. So please give advice but please don't judge. We are loving people that took her in and would do the same if the situation presented itself again.

HI Terry and welcome to Dogforum.org.

I would not worry about the five toes, it's not a big deal and the pup should do just fine. As for colour it is just genetics. No the pigment will not usually come in. Your pups I am sure are healthy and happy. Have you had them to your vet yet for a check up with the Mom ?

Best wishes and could you please post some pics of the cutie's ?

Thanks Deberman's!

No I still haven't taken them to the vet. The moms eating well and I think I'll wait a few weeks before I go. We are keeping one pup and giving the other two away to family or friends. I want to make sure they get their shots before then. Also we want to have the female operated (spayed?) not sure if thats how you say it. I will post pictures of mom and the pups tomorrow. Thank u.

I have been to other forums that are brutal. I am very new here, but IMHO, this form is not like that at all. Oh sure, there are disagreements on various topics, but I have not seen it get nasty.

TOES:
I once had a cat who had 2 sets of claws on every foot. It was very unusual, but did not pose any problems. Your 5 toed pup should be fine, but I'd mention it to the vet.

I'm a fine one to talk, as I have no pictures posted...but please do post some. I would love to see what the pups look like. I bet they're real cute.
