Default Free Roam

I was wondering approximately at what age did you trust your dog/puppy enough to let them have free roam of the house while you're gone (ex: work, gorcery shopping, etc)

I would assume after they can be relied upon to not chew up stuff or go potty.

After they are house trained. My two never chewed on anything not thiers. Training then leave them a little at a time and build up to longer alone time.

Not so much an age thing as a reliability one. They worked their way from having room after room added to their available space. If something happened, their space shrunk again and they worked back up once more until the whole house was available. It's a learning process. Some get it quickly, like Ashenpaw did, others struggle, like Mya did.
