Default He's turned into a terror!

Prince starts his obedience classes tonight which is FANTASTIC. He has definately become a little terror. Some of the things that are driving me insane are the constant biting, jumping and climbing on the couch and the chewing of everything including my mother in laws lamps. He managed to get the back flyscreen door off the runners, but luckily hubby found out what happened before he dragged it away and starting to eat it. I'm dreading going home tonight, like I have done every night for the past 2 weeks.

Hi Ebby's mum That's puppy life for you! I can imagine it's driving you insane! How old is Prince now? and have you started basic ground rules for Prince yet? It's very important that he knows what is expected of him! Start to introduce the NILIF training in to Princes routine! It's basicaly getting Prince to earn everything by getting Prince to sit first.
even down to his feeding times etc. Eg: You don't mind Prince coming up on the sofa that's fine! But he has to earn it first by sitting nicely, then by inviting him up with you! If the rules are broken then down he goes on the floor and there he stays, till he gets right. Good luck on the Obidence classes tonight Keep us posted on how it goes Please !

To me - puppies are like kids - they're cute and I enjoy visiting with them - but I'm so glad they are someone else's responsibility! LOL!

As hard as it is to believe, you'll miss those puppy days when Prince gets older.
But it IS annoying while it's happening.

He wasn't too sure what to do with his first outting. He did enjoy seeing the other puppies though. Somehow though I don't think he will be making it to class again this week, he's back at the vet with a suspected broken leg. Not sure how he might have done it but I have my theories (I think he thinks he can climb onto chairs and fly off). I should hear back from the vet within the next hour so will let you know.

Oh no, I hope it isn't a broken leg...poor little Prince. Fingers crossed.

He has hurt his toe. He’s been given some morphine and he’s currently at home sleeping. They said if he’s not better by tomorrow they will do some x-rays.

Oh poor Prince. Sure hope his toe heals quickly and you and he can get back to his classes. Healing thoughts are sent your way.
