Unhappy Deaf puppy

Hi everyone I'm new, we've got 2 beautiful puppies from the same litter, they're sisters and they are american bulldog/boxer cross. Just after we bought them someone broke into our house and took the puppies including a car and loads of other stuff. We've been heartbroken but we've done everything we could to find them, it was worth it cause the puppies had been found!!!!! and they with us where they belong. But now I've got a dilemma, in that burglary we've lost a lot, our insurance decided that they're not going to pay a penny for stolen goods, the car was also found but was involved in an accident so that's going to cost us even more. Anyway we decide that we can't realy afford two dogs right now and we gonna have to sell one of them, white one but I've been watching her carefully for last few days and we're pretty sure she's deaf. I feel bad because she deserve a chance and she deserve a loving home, but I'm not sure if I will find anyone who would give her what she needs

Sorry for your problems. Have you thought of taking the puppy back to the breeder and asking them to find her another home? They'd most likely have more contacts than you would.

Taking her to breeder is not an option for us, for many reasons but thanks sometimes I feel like we should keep her, like we owe her for everything she's been through

I see that you are from Bolton. Is that the one in Ontario, Canada?

I was going to say that if you were in Ontario, I would consider adopting her.

Hi Annax That's a real blow for you and your family, both pups are so adorable too. Glad they were both found Some of the house insurance companies are the real pits, when you renewal comes up i would personaly change to a different company. What was the reason why they wouldn't pay up? Was your house properly sercured? Alarm switched on? Are you sure your pup is deaf have you tried to make a noise close to her to see if she responds ? Or a check up at the vets? Good luck for the future

We going to see a vet tmrw, she doesn't respond for anything really, i tried while she was a sleep claping and all sort of stuff but she won't move or anything, will see what vet is going to say. About the insurance, we will definietly change it soon, and everything was locked in a house, they came through little conservatory window. We will try to appeal anyway, worth another try.
