well she is a puppy, she has just left mommy..

don't make a big deal out of, leave a few treats on the floor as you go to the bathroom. Don't make a fuss when you leave, dont make a fuss when you come back.

Practice everyday, just go out, go back in directly.. Put jacket on, go out, come back in, take jacket off.

This will make her used to that you will be going in and out and it will help her deal with it. She is so little that it will take a while.

She will soon get used to it and settle in....

War Iam confused as well! Apparently Kambo's mum doesn't like dogs inside cause they smell ( yeah right) dogs only really smell if they get wet or have rolled in some thing And at 8 weeks old it's not really a good place to let a pup sleep out side. IMO

Its quite upsetting for me to think that a little puppy has been made to sleep outside when she was with her litter mates in a box in the pet shop last week.

Is there no way you Mom will let your puppy inside? It really is sad.

The reason she cries so much is that she has gone from being INSIDE with her littermates in a warm environment to sleeping OUTSIDE ALONE.

I dont understand why she is even left outside if she hasent had her full course of shots yet thats a recipe for disaster imo

She NEEDS to be inside at her age if you cant keep her inside perhaps rehoming her to a home where they can keep her inside would be the best solution .

I live in Florida where its summer year round and I still would not let a puppy sleep outside

Wait let me rephrase that..I would not let any age dog sleep outside period especially a young puppy!

Weather has nothing to do with it...Dogs are meant to be part of a family not live outside because they "smell"

why does cookie like sleeping on the ground instead of a bucket with a soft toy and some soft clothes and a soft dog mat?

Is there anyway to make her sleep in the bucket instead of sleeping on the ground?

Thanks
Sorry for bad grammar
