Default Rainy days and puppies

Hmmmmm.....well it's raining here today and I don't know what I will do to keep puppy amused all day.

We usually go out quite a few times for play and our walk in the morning.

Any suggestions?

Maybe get a Treat ball for him on days like this, to keep his mind stimulated

I'm worried about introducing him to too many treats right now as I am switching his food.

I give him small bones and tiny bits of cheese and carrot.

When it is raining outside, I play fetch on a small scale in my house. I don't know how large your living room or any room is, but it works for him, and it keeps him entertained.

Another rainy day........poor pooches!

I have an older sheltie who loves to go out frequently to drink up the puddles. My collie pup is content to stay in or out. It is a bit boring for them though.....Do you think I could talk them into a nap?

Hemi will lay quietly if he has something good to chew on... like a pig ear or bully stick.

I keep a stash of stuffed toys for rainy days. You can get them at yard sales for practically nothing of you go at 4pm on a Sunday. The doggies can shred them (ok, makes a mess), but at least they are not bored.

what i have been doing with my dogs lately is when i make a fleese tie blanket, i use the left over to make dogs toys, i just tie the remaining into a rope toy sorta of thing. one thing nice about fleese is dogs cant chew it up and gives them a new toy to play with. Flip and Lilly both love them.
