Default I got my boy!

It's just like being a new father. Sleepless nights, constant vigilance and not a moments rest He is a real charmer and WAY full of energy. Maddie is getting along great with him and I got to sleep from 10:00 PM till 4:45 AM!
Iím afraid Iíll have to put him out in the kennel when I go back to work, 3-4 hours, then I come home for lunch then back to work. He will be 9 weeks old this Tuesday. Do you guys think this is a doable solution? He is too athletic to keep in the x pen in the house and the kennel might be lonely (no Maddie, she stays in the house while we are out) but safe for him. Not ideal but safer.

I would not leave him outside on his own, someone could take him. cant you make a dog safe room to put them both in when you are at work?

We live with a secluded backyard, I have no fear of theft around here.

I just have to tell you how adorable he is! He is probably one of the cutest puppies I have ever seen (and I've seen a lot).

My dog stays in a brick kennel with a run outside. She is an American Bulldog and she copes with it fine, she gets plenty of love and attention but also gets her alone time. I can't see it being a problem if it is only for a few hours
