Any time between 3 or 4 weeks, start by giving them soft warm food you don't have to take them off mum till they are about 5 weeks. so introduce them slowly to food. Once they get eating properly you can give mum a brake and give her time away from them

I start my pups at 2.5 weeks old on real sloppy food. Then at 3 weeks they should be eating real good soaked puppy food with condennsed or canned milk and one whole egg. Keep it warm when you serve it, nice n wet but not as sloppy as before. Mine are weaned now at 5 weeks completely eating hard food on the side, I still soak some and add milk, cooked rice once a day I put that in as just a filler, something different.

They will wean off the mother now and she knows your feeding them, so she does it herself. she will not allow them to suckle milk. I feed mine sometimes 5 times a day rather than huge bukly meals. I hate rolly polly pups, I like mine nice and firm looking with no gut. They are growing and I put in a smashed Bug Off Garilc as they are out side alot of the day playing. They are confined at night. If you need further help, let me know as I have done many many litters successfully. Good luck.
