Default Litter mates

Well it's been a few days since we brought pup home. He is adjusting pretty well.

One thing I find is he groans when he is frustrated. My older pup won't play with him and it frustrates pup to no end! He tries barking, groaning, gentle nipping at my senior dog's feet, tail, ears and fur.

My older dog has been very patient with all this, not saying a word, until yesterday. He growled at the pup and gave him a shrill bark. I was glad he did it. He must establish the boundaries.

The one thing I worry about is that the pup misses his litter mates and we are going away in a few weeks and bringing the pup back to the breeder to babysit. What I am worried about is that the pup will love being there and won't want to come home........Isn't that silly of me?
