My puppy has recently grown to the size that she can now jump onto the couch. What do you guys think is the most effective way to curb this habit of hers? Thanks.

Go to a Wal Marts or carpet store, but clear runner of plastic, much as you measure, and turn it upside down so the spikes are up. It will jump one more time and that is it. U can also stop cats from getting on cubbards base, stove etc. Works great and when it stops use them as like under your feet on an often used chair.
