Default Rosey Still Not Too Keen On Her Crate

I bought a 36" crate for Rosey as I was told she was a cross between a springer and a labrador. She sleeps in it at night but will not go in it during the day for a nap as she howls the place down. She is now 5 months old and I don't think she is going to be very big. I think the labrador theory is wrong. At the moment she is about the size of a small cocker. Will she grow much bigger? and do you think getting a smaller crate might help her go in it during the day? At the moment it is in our bedroom and it takes up a lot of room.

If she sleeps comfortably in it at night, I doubt crate size is the problem. I'd try putting a blanket over the crate when she's howling to see if that will settle her down.
