Default Screaming pups

So anyone that's had pups I'm sure is familiar w/ the loud scream/cry noise they make. Mine have gotten to the point where they do it just for the heck of it I think...like they're making a contest out of who can be the loudest. They cry when there's food in there, when there's toys, even when momma's in the pen w/ them (they all get in front of her face and cry). Is it normal for them to cry this much? Or is there something I can give them, or do for them that will counteract SOME of it? I don't expect to never hear them cry...but it's gone on to the point where sometimes I want to beat my head against a wall.

I just got my first eviction warning about 15 min ago...I really need some suggestions...I don't know what to do to quiet them down(one in particular) from contantly barking and loudly no less. If there's something I can give them to keep them preoccupied even? The only time they're quiet is when they're sleeping or eating...but lately they spend a lot of time awake

they're 5 weeks. I realize that they're going to cry to an extent...but I don't think I've ever heard a puppy howl as much as this one in partic. If myself or the bitch isn't in the room she goes nuts w/ the crying and screaming. It got to the point today where I just had to walk out of the room and let her cry herself to sleep (which she did eventually) because I was going to cry myself.

The best thing you can do is allow her to cry like that, although it might not be best for your neighbors. If you coddle her everytime she has a 'temper tantrum' she will keep doing it and it will only get worse. I know it's hard, but it is just like with a human baby. (that's hard I went through it with my son) Try it for a day or so and I bet she'll improve. They adapt quickly. Good Luck and I hope you don't get evicted!

Funny coincidence...it's our neighbors nextdoor that are getting evicted *laughs loudly to self*. Here's the story. She was crying like crazy all morning and part of the afternoon and then I found the eviction warning. So I figured I'd try to smooth things over w/ the office (I'm not supposed to have puppies in the apt so I was gonna "fib" and tell them that our dog has been sick and in pain lately and she's getting meds for it) and I showed them the notice and she just looked at it and then at me blankly....and said "We didn't put that on your garage hanger" (this is where all notices get put) Well, come to find out, it was the neighbor girls...(both idiot college girls 18 & 19 (not to say that all college kids this age are...but believe me, these ones are) that are so rude to everyone, party loudly everyday of the week until all hours of the night and think the world revolves around them).
They did a copy/paste job of the apartment complex's letterhead and forged a notice to us. (rather than going to the office and complaining or even coming to me and saying something). So now, not only are they getting evicted for that, but they are getting charges pressed against them for falsely representing someone else. LOL! I haven't liked them since they moved in but I was always cordial...but Tikaani HATES them..she growls and snarls at them and doesn't want anything to do with them haha. So I'm glad they're leaving and we haven't bothered any of the other neighbors.

Oh, and the puppy isn't crying NEAR as much now!

Wow! That's crazy those girls would do that... sound pretty stupid to me! Anyways,I'm glad the pup has cooled down a bit. The crying seems to be the worst part, because they are so innocent and you want to help them! Mine are only a few days old, but when they cry I feel like i need to comfort them or hold them... but I guess its just a puppy thing! :P Theres one in my litter that seems to be the howler of the bunch, although they all can be pretty loud!

We had a crier too, this is a picture of her at 4 months.
She is no longer a crier and her family is very pleased with her!
