Default Not new member but new doggie..

I had posted previously a few months back about my poor boy who sadly i lost at Easter.. but now want to post up my new girlie..

Abii is a demented Sheppy X Husky.. She has a few problems that we're working on but i love her dearly and she's a total babe...

How is Abii getting on? Hhmm.. where do i start? lol Not sure i have enough room in this lil ole box to put everything in.. hehe
As much as i love her to bits.. at the start was the biggest cowbag on this earth.. I have had her 4 weeks and was a rescue from sheppy rescue and i know you never know exactly what your getting with their past but by jove she soooo opened my eyes to getting an adult dog.I have always had rescue pups in the past.
1) She has got an attitude problem which is getting better in some respects but geting worse in others. She's dandy with me now, i can do pretty much anything with her now, well aslong as it doesnt involve trying to take her toys, her food or her beloved dum dum duvet which she sucks on. She can be snappy, no rephrase that, she is snappy with other people.. BUT.. i think i have part of a solution to that, i think she may have a problem with vision on outsides of eyes and think it makes her jump and then snaps? She snaps for no reason at other times too with some people, never ever bites just snaps but with a dog like her, one day will only take the wrong person for her to snap at and we'll be in trouble, so if i know we're gonna be around kids then she has a muzzle on but actually she's better behaved around kids just seems to be adults she snaps at.

2) She is an obsessive food theif.. but again that is getting better with time, you still cant leave food unattended but she dont steal from you plate now right infront of your eyes.3rd day i had her, i left her alone for half an hour and she pulled down baby gate to kitchen, opened fridge and freezer.. yes i said opened it and dont ask me how, coz she is one clever bloody bitch.. but opened 2 of the drawers in freezer and pretty much cleaned it out.. frozen raw steak, veggies, chips.. u name it she ate it.. grrr emptied the fridge too.. kitchen was completely ransacked.. I wanted to kill her but i found it soo hilarious too that a dog was sooo clever to be able to do that, never seen or heard of that in my life..

3) think there's a 3, 4, and 5 mainly health probs but i will be here forever and you have prob all gone to sleep or got bored at no1.. lol
anyone that reads the sheppy site will know of her antics.. hehe

Think Abii's ambition is to let the world know she's here.. oh and boy has she let the world know.. lol
but you gotta love her for having character.. hehe hehe hehe

Hi Migsy! Welcome back
Bless you for saving Abii. Rescues can be a handful sometimes, but it really is all worth it to see them progress into becoming a very happy\well-behaved dog

She's got the mischeifness of the husky.. and the stubbon mindedness of one too.. i cant let her off, i live in the middle of the countryside and once she gets a scent of something.. there's no hope in hell of her coming back.. she'd be good at tracking/scenting i think..
Has the attitude of the sheppy.. not sure which part the unpredictablity comes from.. could come from either breed i spose..
but she's a babe and i can see her getting better and better each week and from what she was like a month ago i did contemplate sending her back but then i think with going to rescue place twice and in and out of 2 other homes she's been pushed about from pillow to post since last summer bless her..
surprised she dont have an asbo yet.. lmao
