Default Hello Newbie Alert

Hiya
I'm new here just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from DWAG - Dog Walker Action Group in Dorset. We are fighting the council as they are trying to stop dogs being exercised off the lead.

I have two dogs, a 6 1/2 year old GSD called Bruno and a year old Staffie called Candy. They are both rescue dogs and are very loving.

Thanks
Kelly

Hi and welcome to the forum from me and my gang in Scotland. I Take it you mean by off lead in parks and moorland etc.? if so yes I think they should be allowed and wish your Group the best of luck. Take it people will be fined if this takes effect and they let their dogs off?

Yes they want to stop dogs being off leads in parks etc. They will be bringing in fines if they get it through.
I'm not sure what'll happen to the dogs mine are obsessed by playing with the ball and u can't play like that on the lead. There are other places to take them but they're not as safe as the park.
Thanks for the welcomes

Hello & welcome to the forum! I hope you're able to successfully win the battle and that you'll continue to walk your dogs off lead. I'd love to find a group here like DWAG.

I'd love to see pics of your dogs & also see pics of DWAG walks.

Hiya love your sig it looks great.

I'll post the pic of all the dogs when the paper comes out. It was great today to see so many dogs I wanted to hug them all. Most of them got a biscuit outta my pocket. A lot of them know me now as the biscuit lady lol. There were quite a few puppies there too which was nice.

Im also curious as to why you dont want dogs to excersize off lead?
Majority of my dogs excersize is OFF lead because they have long legs, like fetch and takes a while to get worn out. They need time to explore with their noses and crawl under bushes...i sure know im not going under no bush!!
Welcome to the forum, you'll get lots of information here!!! All very useful!!
