Default Hold on

Please please read this message !!!! Your here because we all love our dogs, but from my mistake I lost Spike, my just about 3 old terrier. His lead was mine and his favourite, gave us a bit of space when out walking. Thursday just gone on are every walk something caught his eye and he was gone and as I pulled on his EXTENDING lead it snapped and he was taken by an unforgiving road. So please check your leads and hold on to your little boy or girl, you just never know.

Age x

berisat I am so very sorry to hear about how you lost Spike. You must feel so terrible! And how kind of you to warn other dog owners!
May I ask how long ago this happened?

A terrible thing to happen my thoughts are with you. Personally I think these leads should be banned.

Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so hard to deal with. I saw a similar accident happen-a lady had her dog full out extended on the sidewalk of a busy street-and the dog went across the road when he saw something.

RIP Spike.

It is so hard to face the loss of a beloved friend, and often we blame ourselves. Please don't look at it as your mistake, how would you know the leash was not safe? I know that my Koko and all the other friends who have gone to the Rainbow bridge will welcome Spike. I hope the pain is soon replaced by only good memories.
