Default Hi to all!

Hello, I am from Holland, big dog fan, owner of 2 Tosa's, Sumo, male ( who passed away last month at the age of 11,5) and Tosa House Aiko, female,5 years old. I like to do research in the history of some breeds. This forum looks a nice place to post and read stuff.

Here are some pics of my dogs.....

Welcome Sumoaiko, great to have you join us! The pictures of your dogs are lovely, though I am sorry to hear of your loss of Sumo. I'm looking forward to reading much more about Tosa House Aiko and seeing many more pictures.

Excellent pics of your dogs I have never heard of the breed till now! Where do they originate from? They are great what are the temperants like? As they look so hugable I bet they are gentle giants!!

Welcome to the forum, Sumoaiko. Just got through watching your memorial to Sumo, which was so special. Beautiful photos of your dogs in this post. Will looking forward to more posts from you and more photos and updates on your and Aiko's activities.

Hello and welcome from the coast of Texas. I am Sandra and "mom" to golden retriever, Sophie, who will be 12 on Jan. 8, and Great Pyrenees, Moose, who is 8. I also, have never heard of your breed of dog. They kinda remind me of mastiffs.

I am so sorry you lost your big boy. I suffered two losses last year. Lost my 13 year old golden retriever, Honey on Aug. 13, 2014, and my 7 year old blind Great Pyrenees, Shaggy on Sept. 24, 2014. It does hurt so much.

Again, welcome.

Beautiful dogs. that breed isn't one you see very often(bigboy-they originate from Japan).

sorry for your loss of sumo! I'm sure he lived a great life

Thank you all !

3 goldens.....Yes, it hurts. It's always hard to say goodbye to a real friend after all those years of friendship.

Bigboy......The Tosa is a Japanese breed. But the breed developed with huge influence of Western breeds, like Great Dane, Mastiff, Pointer and APBT.

Ama....he made my life great to
