It's been a good week of dog training. Very pleased.
At 3:30 my son and I were inches from a barking, lunging German Shepherd.
I was impressed that he didn't move away.
(Nice teeth )

A friend of mine and his wife just adopted a 9 month old German Shepherd. They knew it had issues and a weak previous owner. He is very reactive.

They said, if I hadn't prepped them for the meeting, they would have given up immediately. For them it took 45 minutes for the dog to calm down, but the owners kept trying to sooth the dog (idiots).

It took me less than 10 minutes, then he was laying on his side with his head on my lap.

Gave them homework to work on reducing his anxiety and simple communication.
Well impressed by this story amazing what can be achieved in 10 mins But will add other issues (bad ones) may show up later (days, weeks) so let your friends know this and prehaps they could come and join this great forum too!!!
