hello everyone thanks for the care being shown, basically that was just a hearing to see what i would be pleading to two charges one being owning a pit bull and the other neglecting my dog, on both accounts a said not guilty my solicitor told me that she will have her own expert examine capone to see weather he is off type and for the neglecting part it was so laughable they were saying i neglected to take care of him of old scar injuries but those injuries were so small and minor that i didnt even know of them and capone never showed any signs of pain at all there just trying every dirty trick they can possibly do but its not going to work becuase i will never give up, my solicitor told me that it should of never took this long to get the hearing and that there wrong for taking this long and even worse i have to wait until MAY THE 24TH for the this whole thing to be over so its going to be almost a year that i havent seen my dog or even seen a pic of how hes doing, its so crazy that in this day and age and in a country like britian that this kind of disgusting behaviour from the people were supposedly meant to trust can happen, i for one know as soon as i get my dog back im going to file so many complaints to these idiotic officers who had me waiting 7 months before anything actually happened

Oh no . . . . I can't believe you have wait until May . . . . and even worse with no prospect of seeing Capone until then! It's disgusting.
You have to stay strong, but I can only imagine the torment it must be for you. |

OMG this is :swearing; absolutley bang out of order
Why the long delay till May??? Is it due to more evidence that has to be looked at? I for one would ask your solicitor to try and get a earlier date for the hearing if atll possible my heart goes out to you Britain used to be good or great as it was called years ago Just hang on there I know it's seems to be dragging but stay strong and be confident it will come good for you and Capone Thanks for the update and at any time before May the 24th arrives you need to talk or just vent then we are all here for you ![]()

my solicitor told me that she had her own expert see the dog and her expert believes the dog has pit bull in him so were just going to have to accept that hes a pit and go with guilty with that charge, she also told me that hes been rushed to the vets as he got some sort of problem with his lip so they have my dog but cant even look after him obviously that made me so angry but she said its not serious i hope anyway, she told me that she is going to send pics of how hes doing this week so for the 1st time in 7 months i get to see my dog , she like me and everyone ive spoken to about my dog is utterly suprised and saddened that the police have taken this long just for a hearing il post the pics once i get them, i just find myself so down little things round my house just remind me of him, like how he used to jump in my bed to wake me up when he wanted to go outside , i used to hate that but what id do right now for him to do that to me .. peace guys and thanks for the support

Hi A dna test will have to be taken as you can't just go on someone's words! So you expert through your solicitor has seen Capone but still you aren't allowed to see him? I would ask your solicitor if through the expert a meeting could be arranged to see Capone ( there's no harm in asking!)As for entering a plea of guilty I would say no ( what ever breed Capone is) he isn't dangerous and was only protecting him self when the incident happened! And was it your fault that you wern't with Capone and in charge when the incident happended?
Way too long and drawn out this case it's becoming. Thanks for the update!

Mmmmm . . . . . I don't think I'd be too happy to plead guilty either. Having said that we hire professionals for their experience and knowledge and guidance.
Sorry to hear Capone has been hurt, I hope he's okay. Stay strong and positive for him though. Oh and I too would keep pushing to be able to see him, like Bigboy says, it's worth a try. Bless him, and you. You're in my thoughts ![]() |

I'm with PMR and Bigboy. I would not enter a guilty plea. I would also ask for a DNA test. You are in my thoughts, for sure. I'd be brokenhearted if one of my dogs were taken from me, and I couldn't at least visit.. Please keep us updated.

I had experience with being in court for my dog, and I would also say not to plead guilty to anything. Your attorney or whatever the person is called there, can give you better advice than I can, but Because I held out so long in my case, I think I actually got a better outcome because I "wore out" the prosecutor.
