Hi Kelly..welcome to the forum. My dog had this when he was a pup. Don't let him around other dogs...it is very contagius...to dogs & people too. Take her to your vet a soon as possible...they will give you a medicine...liquid....I think it's the ivermectin she will need to have doses according to her age every week and also be bathed every week in a medicated shampoo. It takes about 1 month to kill all the mites...but continue treatment for 2 months to make sure there is no reinfestation.. Clean..clean...clean..you need to clean everything especially her bedding..or anywhere she has had access to in the house...there are sprays available at Petco for the house....you can buy those. They need applied serveral times. Your vet will be able to help with all the info. It's a lot of work with the cleaning and bathing...my pup was only 6 weeks old when he had it....I think he loved all the attention with the baths and the drying..we turned it in a game. Good luck!!
