Default Hi all nice to meet you!

Hi there, I am new to all of this (forums and puppies).
I have recentley brought a nine week old sprocker and would appriciate any tips anyone could give me on either the breed or on puppy training. I have read a few articles on this breed and have been amazed at how many people diapprove of the sprocker creation. I must admit I didn't do much research on this breed before getting it only on spaniels and thought it would be the perfect dog for my family. It doesn't matter to me that its not a pedigree I dont want to breed it, just wanted a family dog, but I am feeling a little downhearted at some of the things I have just read. He is lovely and sleeps alnight, he has just started to let me know when he wants to go toilet so in my eyes he is doing alright. Dont get me wrong he can be a nightmare but cant all puppies!! I would just like some reasurance that everything will be alright!!
Sorry to ramble on, on my first post, hope to hear from you!
Sharon xx

Hello and welcome to Dogforum.org.

I am not even sure what a Sprocker is. I will have to look it up. Do not be discouraged by things you have read, I am sure your new companion will be a wonderful dog.

This is a great forum for you to share stories in, find encouragment and friendship. Welcome again and we look forward to your posts.

Hi and welcome to the forums from me and my gang. I'm not sure either but is it a cross between a Springer and a Cocker Spaniel?

Hi all thank you all for your kind welcome, I would post some pictures but haven't quite worked it out yet, will do as soon as i can. I must say though he is a hansome chap chocolate brown with a white chest, I think he looks more springer than cocker.
