Thumbs up Hellooo Greetings from Baltimore

I didn't see a "Introduction" section so I guess this is the best place to post this
Hi there I am Cassis, I go to Art school in Baltimore Maryland and I am a sophomore.
I have two dogs, Echo and Cyrus.

Echo is the newest member, I got her in November. she is a husky Rottie Mix.. I THINK.. hehe and she is 5ish months. and so far she has been the smartest fastest learning puppy. Incredibly Mellow. I would like to do Schutzhund with her. but am in the process of finding a club nearby.. and finding out whether or not I can afford it and if we will even like it...
and Cyrus is my Old boy though he doesn't act it. I have had him since he was 2 and he is 8 now. he is an English Setter. he is Also very mellow.. I like Mellow dogs..

ummm I do some pet sitting in the area, its something I have been doing since middle school, in many different places.

I am studying 3D animation at The Maryland Institute College of Art. I love my school and they are VERY dog friendly I am allowed to bring a dog to class (as long as its ok with teacher and class)

and lastly. I am here because I left another dog forum that I had been apart of since I got Cyrus. I did not like the way that they would gang up on people (not me) but new members who came and asked questions. (usually about their prego dog, or feeding a low quality food, or even a difficult training technique) I mean there is nothing wrong with telling someone that they should spay their dog but I didn't like it when the people on my old board would tell this poor person off and couldn't look down from their soap boxes and Help this person Help their dog. I creeped at a few forums before choosing this one. I think I made the right choice

I look forward to meeting everyone

Hi Cassis, welcome! We're glad you joined us. Cyrus and Echo are adorable! Such cute poses- I love the expression on Cyrus' face in the last one and Echo's tail in the third picture. Looking forward to hearing more about them and seeing tons of pictures :-)

Hola

Nice puppers you got there. Love the bi-eye and the rottie colors. I'm sure that Echo will take a cue from Cyrus and be a mellow one too...eventually - lol

...and don't mind me too much. I never claimed to be Mr. Niceguy but I make an effort here 'cos they make me

Well , you talked about yourself and your dogs so technically I guess the thread would fit in either place. The mods will move it if they are so compelled . Looks like the puppers get on fine the way Cyrus has his head resting on Echo- lol, nice pic

oH yes they get along really well, in fact I think Echo has taught Cyrus A LOT about being a dog.. if that makes any sense. Before Echo came, Cyrus would ONLY play fetch with certain balls.. his favorite pass time was playing Chase the horse whip.. (like a giant dog sized cat toy) and he never wanted to play with other dogs.. (not aggressive.. just not interested)
it took about two weeks but now He plays will all the toys Echo has, (he is a bit more destructive, which I have to correct, :/) and they play together etc. its been a huge change in him that I am happy to see

oh and I am training Echo in Italian.. (for fun..)
