Hi all! Some of you might remember me I have posted here before, but I've been off for awhile because of computer problems and moving to a new (bigger ) home.
This was my previous introduction post:

"Hi everyone. My name is Lisa, but Online I prefer to be called Lilly. I'm 21 years old, and from the great state of New York (usa), I live with my Mom and younger sister, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 domestic rat. I work full-time as the shelter manager at the humane society in my county.
Enough about me , I'm sure you all want to hear about my dogs. I have 3 dogs currently, Lilly, Duke, and Chance.

Lilly is the matriarch of the bunch, she's a 9 yr. old black Pomeranian that we rescued from the local vet clinic where she was abandoned by her owner. She's absolutely the sweetest little girl, but very protective. "Big dog in a small body" definetly fits her.

Duke is an 8yr.old Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, that was brought in to the shelter because the children of the lady that owned him didn't have time to care for him properly. You see when he was a young dog Duke was hit by a car, and paralyzed from the belly button down. His owner got him a special "wheel chair" or cart, and did very well with him. When she passed away in 2005 he was brought in. He has to wear diapers, but other than that he's really no harder to care for than any other dog.

Chance is the "baby" of the bunch, he's a 2 yr. old Yellow Lab that we also rescued from the shelter. He is blind (born that way) so nobody wanted him, but I fell in love with him. Long story short, we decided to adopt him. He got his name because my Mom said that he deserved a "chance" at a good home .

As you can probably tell I really love dogs, and I look forward to hearing from all of you. "

Well now I'm happy to report that I am the proud Mama of a fourth dog.

Jazz is a tan/white 1yr. old female boxer that was dumped at my Uncle's farm. When he found her she was very emaciated, dirty, and covered with fleas and ticks. Now 3 months later, and after alot of TLC, she is happy, and healthy (80lbs now, she was 40lbs when we found her ).

Anyway I look forward to hearing from old freinds and meeting new ones.

Hi Lilly! I'm new here myself, but I'm a pom owner too. Big dog in little body totally describes my little guy too!

Thanks so much everyone, it's good to be back.

Thanks Retriever Crazy, I'm definetly glad to have Jazz with me she's a wonderful dog . I couldn't believe it when my Uncle called and asked me to come get her. He had been working in his dairy barn when (through the window) he saw a car pull up in front. As he was walking out to see what was going on they opened the door and pushed Jazz out ( ) !!!! When I finally got her to the vet she was in such bad shape that he only gave her a 25% chance of living through the night! But of course she made it , which in my mind really proved how tough she is. And the fact that she still loves people is what really gets me, it's amazing how forgiving animals can be .
