Default Hello from BFRD (and Charlie)

Hi, I never introduced myself. I have been a member at overclock.net for a long while and when I took over some of the technical roles there I did the same for this site (and carforum). Needless to say I am usually pretty busy.

Since it always gets asked, I will explain the username. It stands for Big Fat Red Dog, in a previous relationship I had a dark red golden retreiver with a weight problem. We started calling her big fat red dog, and the name stuck with her and eventually I stole it. She doesn't live with me anymore but at least I still see her everyonce and a while.

Here is the BFRD

I absolutely fell in love with goldens and have recently adopted a young puppy. His name is Charlie, he is just 7 months and very much still a puppy. Nobody has told him that he weighs 60lbs and isn't a lap dog. He is very sweet and just loves my other little animal (7yr old daughter).

Welcome, and we REALLY appreciate all the things you do to help us out here.
The bfrd is lovely (I never would have guessed that "bfrd" stands for THAT and Charlie is adorable.

Welcome aboard Bfrd Thank you for all the hard work on keeping the forum running smoothly and sorting out technical problems! I have often wondered does he/she own a dog? And now you let the cat out of the bag so to speak! Charlie is adorable to say the least Glad you are still in contact with Bfrd! Any questions on training Charlie just ask away ( only joking though )

I changed the location for Delphine (BFRD), that picture should show up now. Thanks for the welcome. I will probably have a few question about training, since charlie seems partial to eating shoes (my wife's shoes...)

from me and Jake (Irish Water Spaniel)

Have a good time on the forum, your puppy sounds delightful. Bfrd looks very wise! Good to know what BFRD means (I did wonder).
