Default Greetings to all. Just registered

I live in Nottinghamshire, England and have an 8 year (human) old Flatcoated Retriever, Sasha. She is a sweetheart.

Unfortunately she has just been diagnosed with pancreatitis. Does anyone out there have any recommendations for commercially available canine diets appropriate to her condition?

Picture will be posted when she feels better.

All the best!

Hello SFB and

I'd love to see pics of Sasha - when she's feeling better of course.

You might want to re-post your question about diets for pancreatitis in the healthcare subforum, as it will be likely to get more responses there.

Hello there

Sorry to hear about Sacha being unwell Royal canin do a diet specifically for dogs with pancreatic problems I think check it out with the vet as its a prescription only diet which is the draw back but if your insured you can get it on the insurance

We have 4 standard schnauzers who all say Hi too

Hello & welcome to df. I've known a couple of dogs with that condition. The 1st one was on a special diet, don't know what it was, the owner was very watchful that he didn't eat anything he shouldn't whenever other ppl were around.
The 2nd one was my brother-in-laws dog, don't know what restrictions she was on. So not much help am I?
I love flat coats. Considered getting one, but very few breeders here so I went with another border collie.
