Default Hello one and all!

Hello! I'm here simply to introduce myself and my beautiful companion, But first I'd like to share my excitement and thanks for dogforum.org, I'll sure become an active member

My name is Alex and I personally am 20 years old from Birmingham-England EU, And have grown up with dogs all my life. My father had a beautiful Beagle, Deano, Who sadly passed away when I was 3. We had a beautiful mongril subsequently who was neglected in her previous home, Her face would melt the toughest mens hearts. Sadly when she was 15 she passed peacefully away.

My dad said no to having another dog again, But he wanted to get me something special for my birthday, And he certainly did!

I am now the proudest dog owner in the world of a 3 year old Kerry blue terrier named Seamus - Never have I met a dog half as loyal, With half the personallity that fits so well into the family. Grandson of a Crufts champion, We adopted Seamus into our family when he was just 18 months old, As is familly just couldnt look after him. My father found out about Seamus through the internet, And donated 100 to the foundation that bought us together. I'll be sure to upload a picture over Christmas!

When me and my partner finally get a house of our own, I hope to introduce an Airdale Terrier bitch into our family

Anyway, Thank you for letting me share and I hope to meet many like-minded people

Take care all!

Alex & Seamus x

Hello again! Instead of taking some pictures I thought I'd share a small video my partner recorded earlier today, Of Seamus doing some simple obedience. Sadly the video uploaded at a 90 degree angle and I'm not sure how to rectify it (As the file 3gp wasnt even viewable using my programs, Certainly not editable) and I just uploaded straight up to YouTube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFyIu97kXGw

Once again I appologise for the angle, And if anyone could tell me how to fix it I'd appreciate it And yes, He is overdue for a haircut

Anyway to tell a lil more about Seamus. Theres absolutely nothing about his personallity that you could fault, He is incredibly gentle around my younger brother, Louis (8) and he craves attention. If after a long walk when we get to the house, He'll go take a drink and then walk into the living room, With a dripping wet beard and jump up to sit next to me, I could seriously sit there and stroke him for hours When he's really tired he'll rest his head in my lap and he's soooo cute lol

I cant understand why KBT remain such an unpopular breed, They're perfect family dogs, Loyal and strong. Seamus has never had problems with other dogs (Except barking at them at 2am, oh well ^_^) as they all pretty much submit to him. When we walk him around the park we meet the same people each day and its just beautiful to watch them run around together. If barking is the only reason why people dont have KBT's I suggest you buy earmuffs, And enjoy a beautiful companion.

Anyway thats enough from me for now Hope you like the video and can ignore my squeeky phone-mic voice lol
