Smile Hello

Hello everyone

I have sadly just had to put my dog bonnie to sleep last sunday she had a stroke and couldn't walk or stand to do the toilet anymore, she also had developed a heart murmer and here breathing was becoming laboured
it was the hardest choice i ever had to make she was 14.

However i am in the process of looking to rescue a border collie dog age 6 months from the sspca we are gpoing to take him a walk tomorrow and see how we get on with him the only thing that worries me is that i have 3 cats.

Any help or advise on how to help them get along would be gratefulk

thank you

Hi bonniebabe and

I'm so sorry you had to put your dog Bonnie down. I'm sure she was well loved and had a good life with you. Bless you for thinking of rescuing - there are so many dogs out there who need a good home with a human that has a big heart. You might want to re-port the question about how to introduce cats and dogs in the general forum as it will be seen by more members.

So we are near neighbours then.

That's quite near Skares isn't it?

So sorry about Bonnie. A rescue will be very lucky to be loved by you. I don't have any advice about the cats although I do have 3 cats and Little Lucy. Lucy is a little smaller than the cats and bugs them alot but they just chase her away. Enjoy the forum.
