Talking hi my name is muffin

I have a pekingese chihuahua and shes the reason why im joining. Shes the most adorable thing with the stinkiest breath lol (i bought her some tartar control breath stuff) I need to learn a few things and thats why im here. Ill be looking forward for your advice and such......

You may need to have her teeth cleaned. This really helped my Lucy's breath. They need to put them under anesthestic while they do this.
They also gave us a regular tooth brush to brush her teeth with and a little finger cot thing with bristals on one part. Can't get the tooth brush in her mouth but use the finger thingy every day after our nap.
She doesn't like it either. I softly hold her snout shut and try to rub the sides for 30 seconds it helps some.

If you are feeding just canned food that can cause tarter to build up on the dogs teeth. I'd try mixing or giving your dog just kibble and plenty of chew toys. Also brushing the dogs teeth on a daily basis will help.

I would have your vet check your dog's teeth for any periodontal problems. With small breeds like yours teeth can be a problem, they usually don't like to eat harder foods.

that is cute.....i will brush my muffins teeth from now on since we had a near death experience the other day with the tartar treats! I never really thought you could brush their teeth....
