Welcome to DogForum.org.
![]() I have no idea, what exactly is this cross ? Beagle and Cavalier ? Probably between 10-12 yrs if that is what the cross is. |

Hi! Welcome! I'm new here too. The Beaglier is a new one on me too. Sorry I can't help.
I'd love to see a pic of that cross. Please post a pic so we can all see your new family member.

hi, yes beagalier beagle + Cavalier so going by what you say 10-12 yrs should he be getting on at 7 ? the reason i ask is he likes to sleep alot and as we got him from a shelter we dont know his history so i cant work out if he is lethargic or just tired due to his age.... thanks for replying

hi katz i will post one when i take a better one, he is currently sleeping but he is a darling with my little ones and he follows me around from room to room and im just in love with him. His size is that of a beagle and he has the short hair of a beagle but his face is a mix of the two.

Have you had him to the vet yet ? He could be wormy and that can sap the energy out of a dog.

Well honey it is half Beagle and some Aussie dog in it, so sweet regardless. Being a smaller breed I would extend to say it may to a good 15 yrs or more, cross your fingers as I had Bostons to live near 18 yrs old. Keep it on good kibble, exercise daily, playing and lot of love it will live a nice long life you you and so adorable I could hand out a free hug real quick.

He seems to become more lively when he hears the neighbours dogs.....maybe he is lonely? Anyway thanks for the kind words and i uploaded a picture, i think there is a better one in my profile. |

He's beautiful! Sounds like it might just be a lot for him to handle for one day & he needs some extra rest.
